For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated by languages and have enjoyed the possibilities they open up to be able to communicate with people from other cultures. Each language is also a reflection of its different cultures and I love to learn new words in a language and see how they teach me more about the countries where it is spoken. I am a native English speaker, but also speak Spanish, French and Italian. I would like to learn German, Portuguese and Japanese. Portuguese is next on my list!
I worked as a translator before becoming a language teacher in 2010. My students have come from many different countries and have learnt with me for a range of reasons, including for business purposes, exam preparation or just for pleasure. I have also taught the full range of levels from beginners to proficient.
I always try to understand what my students want to get out of their English classes and analyse what they need to do to develop their English. If I teach you, I am looking forward to helping you and making your English learning an enriching, varied and successful experience!
